Working From Home

I don’t think life can get much better than this… I am not only working, but from home while I worship the Lord through music/singing. I am truly blessed in my endeavors. =]

How shall I start this? I have chosen to walk in my own ways for the past 4 or 5 years now. The Lord recently grabbed a hold of my heart in a very real way through a series of ripping events. I have been learning what it means and looks like to trust in the Lord. I have not experienced the fullness of joy as I do now, ever in my life. It’s amazing how we are able to be comforted by God’s Spirit and truth. Everything in life has changed, and for the better. By that I mean, my outward view of things has changed. Things that seemed to not matter much to me, matter no more. Things that used to matter, are worthless. I love that God has been blessing me in crazy ways that I don’t deserve. The Lord knows exactly how far he can push us without “tipping us over”. As the Lord pushes me and challenges me, He rewards graciously rewards me. Not that I deserve any of it, but He still chooses to. How great is that?
I was reading this little thing online and it had a really cool little quote at the bottom. I thought I would share it…

“The Lord can turn a tragedy
Into an opportunity
To show us that eternity
Must never be ignored.”
“No tragedy is beyond God’s sovereignty.”

My family and I ventured down to southern california for thanksgiving to visit part of our family! Thanksgiving itself was a lot of fun. I love food and I love people, so this holiday ends up being a lot of fun for me. I think we are staying through friday and then heading home on saturday morning. Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving!

Hey All,
Brad and I are about to take off from Auckland to go back to Christchurch. Our 10 day road trip around the North Island has come to an end and it was a lot of fun. We are probably just going to end up watching movies and catching up on sleep over the next day in Christchurch. I am then going to be taking off to come home. I can’t wait to see you all!
