We Made It To Rotorua

Posted by jason on November 16, 2009

We made it to Rotorua and I think we are going to stay here for the night due to the free camp sites. We are then going to head out in the mornin’. I don’t really know what we are doing, but it is awesome having nothing planned. I love just chillin’ all day long and doing things last minute.

Traveling It Up

Hello family and friends.

Greetings from down unda’.

Just want to say what’s up to everyone. Let you know that I jumped out of an airplane yesterday. At 15,000 feet. That’s a good 75 second free fall baby. Other than that, Brad and I have just been livin’ it up big time. Smashing and bashing. Enjoying the great provision of the Lord. And seeing His amazing creation from a whole new perspective. Seriously, this country is ridiculous. Stay tuned for picture updates. And a video of my fantastic skydive. Set to the sounds of Hoobastank. Quality!

Landed in Auckland

Posted by jason on November 9, 2009

So, I just landed in Auckland and now I am hanging around, waiting on my next flight to Christchurch.

The plane ride over went pretty smooth except about 3-4 hours of it. I was miserable with a upper back/shoulder/neck ache, but it went away after some hours.

I started the plane trip off watching Shrink with Kevin Spacey. It was actually a really good movie. I ate beef bolonaze or however you spell it for dinner and it was SUPER good. There was a cute little old couple (around 70) that sat next to me and it was definitely cool sitting next to them. The wife was really sweet and funny. Anyhow, I proceeded by having a couple glasses of some merlot and then went to sleep for a couple of hours. I was woken up by the wife freaking out in her sleep, ha ha. I swear I thought our plane was getting hijacked or something, by the level of her scream. I was then able to go back to sleep after some hours and I got a solid 2 hours of sleep. I then woke up and had a fruit breakfast with some yogurt and OJ. It was delish.

I am here now and have to run off to my next flight. I will post more as stuff happens.

P.S. I started watching (500) Days of Summer after breakfast and I didn’t get to finish it, oh well. It was a super good romantic comedy.
